The FPX 4.400 is a very compact 4-channel amplifier with a power of 4x70 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms. Offering a 4/3/2-channel mode, stable at 2 Ohms and equipped with an active crossover for each pair of channels, the FPX 4.400 is the most "sound quality" model in this range. Thanks to its very comfortable power, this is the ideal amplifier for powering front and rear speaker drivers, or for hi-fi installations with a 2-way kit in the front and a subwoofer. OPTIMISED HEAT DISSIPATION

For an amplifier to provide high power and musicality, efficiency and heat dissipation are two essential qualities. In order to optimize these aspects, FPX amplifiers have been given a thick aluminum chassis. The distribution of the components was also carefully researched to optimize the cooling capacity of the chassis.

The careful selection of each component (switching power supply, oversized toroidal transformers and high-quality capacitors) has made it possible to create powerful but ultra-compact amplifiers offering excellent musicality.

EXTREMELY VERSATILE

Thanks to its 4x70 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms and a ClassAB amplifying technology the FPX 4.400 is an ideal solution for a wide range of uses.

In bridged mode, it delivers 2x200 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms, enabling it to power a significant subwoofer channel with channels 3 and 4. It is also stable at 2 Ohms (4x100 Watts RMS) so it can also be used for powering different types of speaker drivers. In order to perfectly power the speaker drivers, each pair of channels is equipped with an adjustable active crossover from 40 to 5000 Hz: high-pass, low-pass or wideband. The 2/4-channel input modes ensure compatibility with mid-range head units only equipped with a pair output lines.
